Windows XP

Your GigaDisk uses a web-standard protocol called 'WebDAV' (the same protocol used by Apple's iDisk).
MacOS 8 and 9 do not natively support the WebDAV protocol.

You can use your GIgaDisk on OS 8.1 - 9.2.x by downloading a freeware program called 'Goliath':

What are Clients and Workers?

Your Gigadisk contains five client folders and a "workers" folder. Create passwords for clients and people working with you by accessing your Admin Login at http://www.filmcomposer.com/login.shtml. "Worker" accounts can access anything in the "workers" folder and the "client" folders. Each client account can access their client folder (Account "client1" can access only folder "client1", etc). Workers and clients can read and write files in the folders they have access to, but can't see anything outside of those folders. To disable a worker or client account, simply change the password.

Can I delete or rename the Workers and Client folders?

Not that this time. If you rename one of the folders, your workers or client may not be able to access the folder you renamed. You can change the name back and it should work again. If you deleted the folder and re-added it, only you will be able to acces it. Contact Us and we'll fix the access to the folder.
